Foreword

Rachel was one of those magic clients - I can only explain her as being a ray of sunshine every time I saw her. So happy, excited and relaxed. She bought this relaxed vibe right to her wedding day, despite the stress that no doubt her and Chris were under on those last few days of their wedding.

Rachel and Chris were our last beautiful wedding of our 2019/20 season. The day before their wedding the New Zealand government issued restrictions on gatherings that meant they had to limit their guest numbers for the following day. Contacting guests, rearranging the seating plan, working through all the logistics with their suppliers - lots of shuffling around, but they both appeared to take it in their stride.

Come the big day, it started off wet right up until guests started trickling in for the ceremony. To say we were all relieved would have been an understatement! And what a day - what a way to end our wedding season with such an incredible couple, surrounded by their family and friends!
