Foreword

Jamie and Callum’s day was truly magical.

Their ceremony and reception were held at the newly opened Bangor Farm located in Darfield. This Oak tree lined property had previously been an award-winning operational deer farm, and the new owners India and Mark have worked extensively converting it into a magnificent lifetsyle property with the expansive deer sheds transformed into a grand reception room.

With the warm and opulent colour palette, this really complimented the venue’s wooden features and with florals topping high plinths made to essentiate the impressive height of the roof. With luxe French linen tablecloths and napkins, gold cutlery and pillar candles in cylinderical glass vases - every detail was thought of carefully. Stationery always finishes off a place setting, and we loved working with Kim from Smitten in Love for her effortless stationery options, She is also so accomodating making colour changes for us so we can make sure our overall styling is cohesive in all that we do.

From the textured warm florals to the stationery - every little part of Jamie and Callum’s day was thought about, right down to the colour of the candles we chose for the tables! We decided we needed these to be a beautiful beige, to compliment the natural look of the French linen as white would be too stark. We are so glad we made the change - these looked incredible and added a delicious ambience to the tables.

One of the highlights of styling Jamie and Callum’s day come as guests started arriving for the ceremony. One of the side doors was ajar, allowing the first few guests to see the reception area. As they peered in as they walked past we heard muliple gasps - one sure way to know we had done our jobs well!
